Getting There

By Bus

Bus Eireann operates a special air coach service to and from the airport into Cork city centre, journey time is approximately 25 minutes. There are daily bus services from Dublin and all major towns in Ireland to Cork.

By Train

Cork Kent station is just outside the city centre and approximately 4 km from the airport, transfer by taxi costs approximately 10 euro (use Euro symbol) and there is also a bus shuttle service to the airport every 45 minutes. There are 6 - 7 trains each day to/from Dublin with connection to Limerick, Tralee, Waterford and all major towns in Ireland.


Cork Airport

Cork Airport is serviced by direct flights from Amsterdam, Paris, Edinburgh, Nice, Prague, London City, London Heathrow, London Stansted, London Gatwick, Bristol, Birmingham, Southampton, Liverpool, Belfast, Leeds, Munich, Faro, Rome, Barcelona, and Glasgow. There are a number of daily flights to/from Dublin.

By Road

From Dublin
3 hrs 36 minutes /161 miles
Follow signs for the South out of Dublin, you will be travelling on the N7. If travelling from the M50 follow signs marked South. At Junction with M50 - take 2nd exit off roundabout to N7 signposted the South. Travel straight through on M7; signs will indicate Cork and Limerick. After Ballybrittas, there will be exit signs off the M7 for Cork. Take N8 off the M7 to Cork. Travel through Abbeyleix, Durrow, New Inn, Johnstown, Urlingford, Horse and Jockey N8 will bring you into Cork. At Dunkettle Roundabout entering Cork take 2nd exit N25(signposted West Cork, Ringaskiddy) Travel Through Jack Lynch Tunnel Keep travelling straight until Kinsale Roundabout at Roundabout take 1st exit N27 signposted Kinsale, Airport. At Airport Road roundabout take 3rd exit.

Other Routes
When travelling into Cork from other regions, take the directional signage on entering the City for the South Ring Route, this road network will bring you through a series of roundabouts which clearly lead to the airport.
