The Hotel's award winning two rosette Restaurant, The Lodge Bar & Restaurant, offers superb dining in a relaxed atmosphere with views overlooking the lake. Light meals and refreshments, morning coffee and afternoon tea are also available in the conservatory-style Members Bar.

The Lodge

The Lodge cuisine is described in the 2005 Guide as 'British International' by the AA who have awarded the restaurant 2 rosettes. Head Chef Lee Child's style is influenced by cuisines from diverse countries such as Morocco and Spain, and menus also feature his innovative interpretation of classical English dishes (such as Dover Sole, Blade of Beef, Shepherd's Pie!), alongside the more elaborate French classics using Seabass and Tournedos of Beef Fillet. Particular attention is made to the season, and to sourcing the very best of fresh local produce such as Lighthorne lamb, barbary duck and rabbit.

Every item on the menu is home-made including terrines, confits ..... even the breads on the bread board served with fresh olives, French butter and dressing, and each dish is complimented by its own vegetables. Our desserts are all made by our resident Pastry Chef who also 'invents' his own sorbets and ice-creams.

As well as the A la carte menu, guests requiring a simpler, plain grilled main course can choose off the 'La Plancha' menu, with (or without) a choice of sauces, and all accompanied by choice of potatoes and side salad. Vegetarians are well catered for with a choice of three starters which can be taken as main courses, plus two extra main dishes to choose from.

Lodge staff are always happy to advise on wines to accompany your choice of dish.

Hotel Residents on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis are invited to take dinner in the Lodge, with a dinner allocation of £30 per adult.

DINING VENUES at the Ardencote Manor Hotel The Lodge Restaurant is an ideal venue for the key calendar dates such as Christmas, Valentine and Father's Day etc., with superb themed menus and usually entertainment. In addition to the Lodge, these key dates are also superbly catered for in our stylish Palms Conservatory. We also offer a flexible range of Conference and Function Suites catering for Private Dining, Birthdays, Anniversaries, etc. from the elegantly furnished Cedar Room for smaller numbers, through to the stunning Arden Suite overlooking the lake which comfortably seats 200 for Banquets and Weddings or 300 guests for an informal buffet.
