Location

The Lodge is situated in a quiet location on the edge of the pretty village of East Ayton, several minutes from Scarborough. Complete with castle and pond, the village is at the head of the beautiful Forge Valley, which tracks the River Derwent through the North Yorkshire Moors National Park.

From the North: Follow the A171 from Whitby into Scarborough taking the next right after the turning to Scarborough Hospital. Turn right again at the next mini roundabout and follow the road into Ayton village. Turn right at the roundabout into Moor Lane. The lodge is approx. 500 yards on the left.
From the South, Leeds and York: Follow the A64 towards Scarborough. 2 miles out of Scarborough, turn left to Seamer and left again at the roundabout through the village. Follow the road to Ayton and proceed as above instructions from North.
