There you can enjoy your lunch, a boat trip (April to October) or take a wander along the loch side with spectacular views of the loch. You may even decide to stop for a whisky tasting at Spean Bridge, before returning to Edinburgh via "Monarch of the Glen" country, stopping in Pitlochry on the way. Additional Information

Getting There Edinburgh's international airport has frequent direct flights to Europe, Ireland and other parts of the UK and a limited number of services to Africa, the Middle East and Asia. There are no direct air services from North America.
Travelling from Europe you'll often be best off flying to London, then taking the train or bus north. The 4-hour centre-to-centre rail trip takes only about an hour more than flying in actual travelling time.
Buses are the cheapest and most exhausting method of transport for travel to/from Europe or other parts of the UK, although discount rail tickets are competitive.
