Neo-classical Council House
 Of particular note, is the neo-classical Council House, whose clock is known as Big Brum and was originally lit by gas. Constructed in the late 19th century, the Birmingham Museum & Art Gallery sits adjacent and today still houses Edwardian Tea Rooms and the world’s finest collection of pre-Raphaelite art; an inscription above the main entrance reading.

Birmingham Nature Centre

Birmingham Nature Centre is home to around 130 species of animal, including deer, otters, owls, snakes, spiders and fish. Birmingham Cathedral

The church is a beautiful Grade 1 listed building of national importance. It was designed by Thomas Archer in the English Baroque style, and built between 1709 and 1715. It became a Cathedral in 1905 when the Diocese of Birmingham was formed. The word "cathedral" simply means the church that houses the chair of the bishop, and so is the central church of the diocese.
