London O2 Arena
Originally built for the Millennium celebrations as The London Millennium Dome, in 2007 The Dome became the O2 Arena following a £600m refit.

Inside the O2 you will find a host of entertainment including a 20,000 capacity Arena hosting concerts by some of the most sought after artists including Led Zeppelin, Bon Jovi, Prince, The Rolling Stones Take That and Elton John. The Arena can also be converted to a sports arena hosting events such as Tennis, NBA Basketball, Ice Hockey and will also host the finals of the gymnastics and basketball during the London 2012 Olympics.



Also within the O2 is “The Hubble”, a cultural exhibition space which will display themed events, including later in 2007 /2008 The Tutankhamun and The Golden Age of the Pharoahs exhibiton.

Entertainment Avenue surrounds The Arena and is open for anyone to visit day and night. Entertainment Avenue houses restaurants, bars, clubs and an 11 screen multiplex cinema which includes the main auditorium seating 770 people in front of the biggest screen in London. Every type of food you could wish is catered for on Entertainment Avenue including Pizza Express, Nando’s, Raan, Thai Silk, Urban Inc, Wasabi, Zizzi, Water margin, Starbucks, Las Iguanas, Gaucho, Jimmy Monacos and many many more.



Peninsula Square located outside the entrance to the O2 Arena is a superb meeting area with a new stainless steel sculpture – The Mast – surrounded by a unique water feature spraying 10 metre high geysers of water and mist over the Square. Free concerts are also staged in the Square with a large digital screen for video.

During the winter season (November - March), The Ice Disco opens up in the London Piazza – a 900 square metre Ice Skating Rink surrounded by viewing areas and a purpose built bar. The Ice Disco can accommodate up to 250 skaters and special themed nights are held.

For a spectacular day or night out, whether with friends or family, The O2 Arena represents a superb all weather entertainment hub in London Docklands.

Getting There

The Arena is situated on the Jubilee Line at North Greenwich bus and tube station. Alternatively, why not arrive in style using The Thames Clipper service, a high speed boat service with luxury bar and lounge facilities. Departing every hour, it takes 30 minutes from Waterloo Pier or from London Bridge Pier in 20 minutes. The O2 has 2,000 parking spaces which can be pre-booked on event nights.
